The Pavilion Centre design throughout has been environmentally sensitive, to provide a versatile building, in keeping with its surroundings and purpose.

The building

Laminated timber frame. External cladding of Siberian larch. Large north and east-facing windows provide natural light to keep energy costs down.

Serious about sustainability

Low-energy lighting with automatic switch off in unused rooms.

Internal Co2 monitoring and automated fresh air intake, heated as required.

Continually calculating our carbon foot print.

Local and seasonal food, fair trade tea and coffee; tap water to drink or locally bottled water.

Recycling paper, cardboard, glass, plastic. Recycling bins for clients and delegates. Email rather than print and postage.

Minimising food waste.
